road to extinction

the harapan rainforest is one of the biodiversity hotspots, and now they are proposing a build a road in the middle of this treasured land. this rainforest is home of over 300 species of birds and many endangered animals like Sumatran tigers, elephants, bears and rhinos. the 50 meter wide road will be used to easier transport coal from five mines in Sumatra, but building this road will be clearing 154 hectares of the rainforest! this road would also allow illegal hunter and logger to easier access the forest! hopefully the indonesian government would not approve this construction that would bring our animals and plants to extinction.
