madagascar pochards

madagascar pochards used to live in wetlands in Madagascar. due to human activities like deforestation, farming and fishing, there is only one remaining wetland that the birds could stay. however, this wetland is too deep for the young ducklings to five for food, and 96% of the ducklings die at 2-3 weeks old. there are only around 25 madagascar pochards in the wild. conservationists are now looking for a suitable wetland for these rare ducks, hoping to help them find a new home.
