Palestine mountain gazelle now endangered



the population of the palestine mountain gazelle dropped dramatically in the past 15 years. there are only 200 of them left in Turkey, so the remaining 2000 in Israeli became the last important population. they are mainly threatened by the habitat lost and collisions with road traffic. their conservation status has recently changed from vulnerable to endangered. specialists hope this could stop the building plans and other unnecessary construction in these critical areas.
