more than 30% of the world’s pandas lives in the forest in southwest china. however, due to regulatory loopholes, nearly 1,280 hectares of the forest have been illegally razed. these illegal logging not only threatening the giant pandas, but also putting other endangered species including red pandas, snow leopard and clouded leopard at risk.
