in Florida, american black bear were once endangered because of hunting and habitat loss. with the help of conservation and hunting ban, they are finally removed from the endangered species list 3 years ago. the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) opened the area for hunting again after 21 years of the ban and allowing 320 bears to be killed. however, just in two days at least 295 bears were killed. so the FWC called an end to the hunt to prevent the bears being over killed.
