每年二、三月,瀕危的虹鱒魚和太平洋七鰓鰻都會在阿拉米達溪逆流而上,回到出生地繁殖產卵。但因被水壩隔離,牠們無法越過比人還高的水泥斜坡而會。幸好有義工們一起拯救,把牠們送到上游去。

endangered steelhead trouts and Pacific lamprey would move upstream from lower Alameda Creek between february to march. however, because of the dam with tall concrete barrier, they are unable to reach their own spawning areas. a group of volunteers helped moving them and help them make it upstream to spawn.
