wild fowling in UK is causing large amount of lead pellets discarded in the countryside. each year, 400,000 wildfowl suffer from lead poisoning after they mis-swallow these pellets, and around 100,000 of them would die. endangered species like red-headed duck, grey partridge and other birds are threatened by these lead pellets.
