australia reptiles at risk



invasive species and climate change are threatening Australia’s reptiles. invasive feral cats are killing over 600 million of reptiles yearly, putting 11 of the reptiles close to extinction. some other invasive species like the toxic cane toad, entered the food chain and bring threats to the native species. some species are also disappearing because of raising temperature and habitat lost.
