too much peacock need to capture them


In 1999, a typhoon destroyed peafowl cages in Kinmen county, Taiwan; 14 indian peafowl escaped and formed a large population in this island, putting the local species in danger. In order to control the indian peafowl population, the government has set up special traps to capture them, and also encourage locals to catch them for consumption or to redeem price.
